Karan Johar‘s upcoming romantic comedy film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The film is directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. The film was initially scheduled to be released on April 28, 2023, but the release date was postponed by three months due to unknown reasons. The new release date for the film is July 28, 2023.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is a love story that is developing amid family drama. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Saswata Chatterjee, Karmveer Choudhary, Arjun Bijlani, Shraddha Arya, Sriti Jha, Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Arjit Taneja, Churni Ganguly, Amrita Puri, Sara Ali Khan in a cameo appearance and Preity Zinta in a cameo appearance.

Teaser Runtime And Release Date Of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani
The film’s teaser got censored today on 18th May 2013 and length of the teaser is 1 minute 9 seconds. It’s a massive release as it’s directed by Karan Johar and boasts of big cast, film should have an extensive marketing campaign. Teaser of the film should be out next week on May 25th on Karan Johar’s birthday and two month marketing campaign will follow it. Also film will have numerous chartbuster songs so it will need ample time to grow and catch up before release.
Commenting on the same a source told, “Karan knows the buzz surrounding Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and the fact that the audience are eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the film. Keeping this in mind he is planning to unveil some new content from the venture on his 51st birthday, May 25.” Ask the source for details and he continues, “It could be anything. So far, only the logo of the film has been revealed, but rest assured whatever Karan decides on releasing, will only heighten the furore around the project.”
Further talking about the promotions of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the source reveals that an elaborate plan is being conceptualized. “Karan Johar and the team are working hard to ensure that the film appeals to the audience, and are in the midst of brainstorming a rather elaborate promotional campaign. In fact, expect the campaign to be a month long affair that will cover digital, on ground and even social campaigns.” Though the source has revealed a lot, he remains tight lipped about what content the audience can expect on May 25. “As I said it could be anything,” says the source.
This is probably one of the biggest releases of Bollywood in third quarter along with Jawan, Gadar 2, Satyaprem Ki Katha.
