The Supreme Court has stayed the May 8 order of the West Bengal government banning the screening of the film The Kerala Story in the state. The ban was imposed by the Mamata Banerjee-led government citing a threat to law and order in the state. The Sudipto Sen directorial sparked controversy by alleging that 32,000 women in Kerala were forced to convert to Islam and join ISIS.

Film added 10.30 cr nett on 2nd Monday which is massive hold. Film collected double digit numbers for continuously 10 days.
Film collected another solid 9.65 cr nett on day 12. followed by 7.90 cr nett on day 13. Film has total of 164.59 cr nett in 13 days. It is certain to cross 170 cr nett by end of 2nd week and 225 cr nett target depends on its trending post release big Hollywood franchise Fast X.
