Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar, recently hosted the US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, at his Mumbai home, Mannat. During the meeting, the two discussed the cultural impact of Bollywood and Hollywood across the globe. The US Ambassador shared his experience on social media, jokingly asking if it was time for his Bollywood debut.
He tweeted, “Is it time for my Bollywood debut? 😉 Had a wonderful chat with superstar @iamsrk at his residence Mannat, learning more about the film industry in Mumbai and discussing the huge cultural impact of Hollywood and Bollywood across the globe. #AmbExploresIndia,”.
Garcetti also shared pictures of the meeting on Twitter, where he can be seen posing with SRK and holding a yellow football with Gauri Khan and other guests around him. The US Ambassador also visited Maharashtra Bhawan in Delhi last week to try some Maharashtrian delicacies and Mani Bhavan, which was Mahatma Gandhi’s Mumbai headquarters. Garcetti expressed his gratitude towards US President Joe Biden for appointing him as the 26th Ambassador to India.
In the first picture, Khan was seen posing with Garcetti while wearing a cap and a full sleeve t-shirt– with sleeves rolled up. In the second picture, Khan was seen without the cap, flashing his dimpled smile as Gauri looks on.

Upcoming Films Of Shah Rukh Khan
On the film front, Khan began the year with a bang with his spy actioner Pathaan, which scripted box office history by minting more than Rs 540 cr all India nett. His next is filmmaker Atlee’s mass actioner Jawan, in which he will reportedly star in a double role. The film is gearing up for a September 7 release. SRK will be seen in much awaited Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki which will hit cinemas in December 2023.
Shah Rukh Khan just shot special cameo for YRF’s Tiger 3 with Salman Khan which will release in Diwali 2023. Shah Rukh will reprise role of Pathaan as part of Aditya Chopra’s spy universe, the biggest IP of Indian cinema.
