Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone To Begin Final Major Schedule Of Siddharth Anand’s Film; Expansive Air Base Set Built


After wrapping the climax, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are all set to commence the final major schedule of their upcoming film, Fighter. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter is touted to be India‘s first aerial action franchise and is slated to release on January 25, 2024.

Fighter’s principal photography had started off months ago. The team had their first shooting schedule at Tezpur airbase center in North-Eastern India where they shot the exterior of Air Force base scenes, followed by a Kashmir and Hyderabad schedule. The film is touted to be one of the biggest action spectacles of Indian Cinema with the two leads, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone playing the lead roles. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover in pivotal roles.

According to sources close to the development, the climax scene of Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film, Fighter, is set to be one of the major highlights of the film. According to reports, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor have allotted over 120 hours for the climax scene of Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film, Fighter. The climax scene is expected to take about 25 minutes of screen time and will feature hand-to-hand combat alongside aerial shots.

 

Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone To Shoot For Final Major Schedule Of Fighter, Set In Indian Air Force Bases

The film’s climax was shot in a month-long schedule in April, and now the team is all set to commence the final major schedule of the film at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. This schedule will last for about 15 days and will involve filming dramatic scenes set in Indian Air Force bases and offices. The filming is divided, with the lead actors and Karan Singh Grover shooting their portions separately.

“This schedule entails largely interior shots and talkie portions. Keeping in mind DOP Satchith Paulose’s vision, production designer Rajat Poddarr and his team have built an expansive set that houses the interiors of an air force base, classrooms, and offices. Siddharth began the latest schedule on Sunday, and over the next fortnight, the lead actors and Karan Singh Grover will shoot their portions separately,” reveals a source to a leading publication.

Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone To Shoot For Two Songs And Sequences For Fighter Inside Plane

After this stint, it will be time for Roshan and Padukone to put on their dancing shoes, as the team will shoot two songs. The source adds, “The director has allotted about five days for the numbers, following which there will be a short five-day schedule in Mumbai. In October, Siddharth plans to can some more sequences in the interiors of a fighter plane. These scenes will be VFX-heavy. The post-production will happen simultaneously.”

Siddharth Anand is determined to complete the filming by November in order to meet the movie’s scheduled release date in January 2024.
