Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is set to star in an upcoming action entertainer produced by Atlee Kumar and Murad Khetani. The film is set to release in the summer of 2024 and will be Varun Dhawan’s first out-and-out action-packed entertainer.
Over the years, Varun Dhawan has expressed his love for the action genre and has been offered multiple action films during the pandemic. The yet-untitled actioner will go on floors by the end of July or early August and will be a proper commercial entertainer. The film promises to be a blend of intense action and emotional drama, tailor-made for Varun Dhawan’s character. The team is striving to create breathtaking visuals and epic action sequences, and the film will be shot over a span of five months. The upcoming action film featuring Varun Dhawan is set to be a big Summer 2024 release in cinema halls across the globe.
Remake Of Theri With Bawaal Pair
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bawaal directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Film is slated for release on 6th October 2023. This same pair of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen again in Theri remake.
Film will go in floors from August 2023 and will be shot extensively for 4-5 months. Film will be directed by Atlee’s senior assistant and that is why Atlee will supervise the film post release of his Hindi debut Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
According to a source close to PinkVilla. “Varun has been in talks with Atlee and Murad Khetani for a feature film for a while now and the actor is all set to commence shooting for the same by Early August. It’s a proper commercial entertainer and at present in the pre-production stage. The team is coming together to create a big scale action experience for the audience,” revealed a source close to the development, adding further that the team is presently working to get the entire technical crew on board, side by side the ensemble.

“While the story is high on emotion and drama, action is at the forefront and the team is looking to create stylish and large than life sequences for Varun. The film will be shot over a period of four to five months as the makers are targeting it to be the big Summer 2024 release in cinema halls across the globe,” the source informed, adding further that the female lead and antagonist will be locked by June.
