Amitabh Bachchan And Anushka Sharma To Face Police Action For Riding Bikes Without Helmets


Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma have recently come under fire for riding bikes without helmets in Mumbai. The celebrities opted for bike rides to beat the notorious Mumbai traffic while commuting to work. However, several users were upset after the actors along with their riders failed to wear helmets during their rides and complained to Mumbai police tagging them.

On Monday morning Bachchan took to his social media platforms to thank the fan who gave him a lift on his bike and made sure that the megastar reaches his film set in time by ditching rush hour Mumbai traffic. Bachchan, shared a picture of him riding pillion on the bike and wrote, “Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped , shorts and yellowed T – shirt owner.”

While some praised the two stars for their down-to-earth personalities, there were some who pointed out that both Amitabh and Anushka were riding bikes without helmets. Netizens came forward to tag Mumbai police on the posts. Social media users wrote on Amitabh’s post: “Missing helmets for both rider and pillion. @MumbaiPolice please take note!”
