Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is making his seventh collaboration with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions after working in movies like Brothers, 2.0, Sooryavanshi, Kesari, Good Newwz and Selfiee.
The actor started shooting the film in November last year and now, critically acclaimed actor R Madhavan has joined his hands in the upcoming biopic on C Sankaran Nair. For the first time both actors are sharing screen space. The period drama, set in the 1920s & 1930s, also features Ananya Panday. The actress has even joined Khiladi Kumar in the two schedules but her role is not revealed yet.
“R Madhavan has often associated himself with content-driven films and characters that require him to push the envelope. He was taken aback by the script of the C Sankaran Nair Biopic and decided to come on board the film. He plays the role of a lawyer, whose character traits are based on a person from that era,” a source confirmed.

The source also reported that both actors are silently shooting for this courtroom drama set in the 1900s and playing the role of a lawyer. “In-fact, both Akshay and Madhavan have done multiple script reading sessions too as there is a certain dynamic that they share in the film,” the source revealed.

The film, which revolves around the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, would be Akshay’s might be first release in 2024.
